Nuclear War

The battle on nuclear weapons is increasing. The article As North Korea Speeds Its Nuclear Programs, US Fears Time Will Run Out. The article describes how North Korea is on the road to creating one of, if not the world’s greatest bomb. The goal for North Korea is to create a Hydrogen Bomb, this is the United States fear that they will accomplish this if they don’t stop it in time. The Trump administration has done very little to try and stop the north from testing again. The North Koreans almost mock the US by showing off their weapons in there parade. It is unclear how Trump will react to a test by North Korea but the goal is to prevent them from testing again, the more they test the closer they get to build their dream weapon. Clinton had put a freeze to their testing, but soon after during the George W. Bush they launched another one and a second just months into the Obama administration. Obama noted that even failures bring the North Koreans good opportunities for them to learn even more. Now it is up to the Trump administration to stop the North Koreans from testing again. Their take on it is to apply overwhelming pressure on the North, both military and economic, to freeze its testing and reduce its stockpile. Then use that against them and if possible make North Korea give up all its weapons. The freeze may stop them for a while but the North still has a very powerful arsenal in stock. The Trump administration needs to come up with something fast before they test again, if not the will be more powerful than us when it comes to Nuclear weapons.

Commentary

In my class mate's post "Welfare Drug Testing, Worth the Dollar?" Paige discusses how we should hold welfare recipients accountable for the testing of drugs. I totally agree, anyone who receives welfare checks should be using the money for the reasons they are intended for. By insuring that these individuals are using the money for the right reason that will help them on their way to being able to get a job and get off welfare checks. However i believe if an individual is not progressing then they should be terminated from the welfare program , anyone not using the government help for the right reasons does not deserve it and i don't think tax payers would be too happy with that. Overall i believe this will help many individuals by leading them into the right path and helping them get off welfare checks thus saving tax payers more money.
